Biosketch: Dr. Leanne Lai received her Ph.D. in Pharmacoeconomics from University of Maryland and joined the faculty at Nova Southeastern University School of Pharmacy since 1996. She is the director of international education program and full professor at the department of Social Behaviroal and administrative Pharmacy. Her research and teaching focus is on pharmacoeconomics and outcome research, Dr. Lai has published and presented over hundread of the scientific research findings at the pharmacy related journals and prefessional conferences. She has been serving at the Medicaid drug utilization review committee in the past eight years. Florida State Governor Bush appointed Dr. Lai three consecutive terms to serve at the state of the Florida pharmaceutical and therapeutical committee which major functions of determining preferred drug list for Medicaid formulary from cost effectiveness perspective. She was also appointed by the National Institute of Health Center for scientific review special emphasis panel as the research grant proposal reviewer since 2002. |
