Biosketch:
Dr. Gershman received her Pharm. D. degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy in 2006, and completed a two year Drug Information Residency. Dr. Gershman is an Assistant Professor for the College of Pharmacy, and her practice site is the NSU Pharmacy Clinic at Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy where she conducts Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services. Dr. Gershman is also a licensed Consultant Pharmacist.

She is published in various scholarly journals with a research interest in prescription drug abuse and regulatory issues.

Dr. Gershman participated in Operation Medicine Cabinet-A Prescription Drug Take Back Program, and she received the Sheriff’s Special Recognition Award for her efforts to prevent prescription drug abuse. Additionally, she has presented at pharmacist and physician continuing education programs on topics including medication errors, prescription drug abuse, and legal and regulatory issues.
